We respect your privacy. This policy explains how personal data is handled on www.dlynk.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies in both the Netherlands and Iceland.

In brief
The site is a static information website. It does not require login, has no forms, newsletters or comment system, and uses no analytics tools or advertising networks. We therefore collect as little information about you as possible.
What information is collected?
Technical information (server logs)
When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records certain technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser and operating system type, date and time of the visit, the page requested and the referring URL. This information is necessary to display the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
- Purpose: operation, security and troubleshooting.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: server logs are deleted regularly, normally within 30 days, unless needed in connection with a security incident.
If you send us an email, we process your email address, name and the content of the message in order to reply.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)) or your consent.
- Retention: as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and at most two years, unless the law requires otherwise.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you go to the seller's website (e.g. Nammi.is). We receive no personal data about you from the seller, only aggregate figures on clicks and purchases in order to calculate commission. The seller's processing is governed by its own privacy policy. Recipients and transfers
We never sell personal data. Data may be accessible to processors that provide us with technical services, such as web hosting and email, under data processing agreements. If a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have, among other things, the right to:
- access the data we process about you,
- rectification of incorrect data,
- erasure of data (the "right to be forgotten"),
- restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests,
- data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time.

Complaints to the Data Protection Authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the data protection authority in your country of residence – in Iceland, Persónuvernd (personuvernd.is).
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
Children
The site is open to everyone but does not knowingly collect personal data about children.
